week2-temporal montage
temporal montage from lara hughes on Vimeo.
Alright well this is now the third time now I've done this exercise. Did it twice before but saved it incorrectly on the computers at uni and subsequently loss my work. However each time i did this exercise i found new ways to animate the montage using the transform properties.
My aim was to make the montage to appear to be alive. This was achieved by animation the transform property-position. By making the different shapes break apart and coming back together it create that sense of realism-like a magnet. I changed the opacity properties on and off-because this created the illusion of a real light flickering. I selected to then animate the rotation tool because i wanted to create the effect of whirl wind. This was achieved when the layers overlapped and were blown around. This create a sense of depth and space.
I didn't like however how I cut up the blue sky. It could of been a lot neater-in order to create that allusion of everything fitting together.
